This was a book I could not put down. Des and his co-rider were both well beyond their youth but still followed their dream in this trip on historic motorcycles that would daunt most riders half their age. Candidly and superbly written, it enchants the reader on so many levels. I only hope that this was not his last hurrah but they have another adventure in him.
